Refusal of a meeting between the CEO of AtoS IT with CCOO Industria

The top management of AtoS refuses to hold a meeting with the Federation of CCOO Industry despite the corporate restructuring announced by the technology group, rejecting social dialogue with CCOO Industria as the most representative union in AtoS IT.

After the public announcement of the ATOS business group about the imminent project of modifications in its business structure, the Federation of State Industry of CCOO, formally requested a meeting with the CEO of ATOS IBERIA, Pilar Torres, with the aim of transferring to the company the concern that CCOO Industria has in matters that would affect the staff of ATOS IT, mainly related to maintaining employment and working conditions.

This request for a meeting has been requested up to three times by the union, the company giving an evasive response.

We believe that this situation is unacceptable and unaffordable, since the announced reorganization will directly affect all ATOS IT staff and we are not being given the opportunity to deal with it beforehand, sitting at a table to get to know and, if necessary, participate, according to the legislation, in the negotiation to safeguard the social and labor conditions of the workforce in this announced restructuring.

CCOO is meeting with all the multinationals and companies not only from the ICT industrial sector, but also from other sectors with similar situations, so much we are not asking for anything exceptional.

The last request for a meeting to the CEO of ATOS Iberia was on July 1 with the same response: evasive not to meet.

In view of these facts, we conclude that THEY HAVE NO INTENTION TO MEET WITH THE UNION, and this is something very serious in the face of which WE ARE NOT GOING TO STAY WITHOUT ACTING, we will announce pressure measures and legal actions shortly.

    CCOO, we will keep reporting
